Just yesterday I was writing a review of the Trupanion Pet Insurance option and even though they have stated it (clearly) on the front page of their site it wasn't until the very last minute that I found that they do cover pets older than one 12 months. Well that is if you're trying to buy pet insurance for your pet with Trupanion after your pet has turned one. If you do it before they'll naturally cover your pet after it turns one.

In the post I did yesterday I found that the pet insurance company Trupanion are not taking on new customers if their pets are older than 12 months. Their sole focus is no puppies and kittens which means that if you own a pet that is more than 12 months old and you want to either get a pet insurance or to move your insurance from one company to another then Trupanion will not be for you.

If you’re a pet owner you might have heard of the company called Trupanion. I made a review of their pet insurance yesterday and I found that they have a very unique and interesting business model where they have chosen only to give pet insurance to puppies and kittens that has not yet turned 12 months.
